Romantik Hotel Rittergut Bömitz

Pleasant elegance characterizes the individually decorated rooms of the manor house, out of which one looks of the idyllic garden terrace and the magic park behind. In it there is an enchanted pavilion, which was already an intimate setting for many newlyweds.

The hall is set in private estate atmosphere. Creaking floorboards, the clink of glasses at the bar and the crackle of logs in the fireplace provide a cozy comfort. The Gourmet Restaurant "Hunt Room" invites to dinner and offers mainly fresh, seasonal and local products from first- class production.

The manor house Bömitz has a checkered history, dating back to 1340. Since that time it was run in rapid succession of different owners. More than 50 years the estate has never been in one hand. Between 1929 and 1952 the building was used as a private nursing home. After its nationalization any building conservation measures have been taken over, making the once-good substance of the house suffered significant.

In the late 1980s the house was in such a ruinous state that the home had to be closed. Looting and destruction then directed the property completely destroyed. Only the acquisition by the current owners led to the restoration and new use as a hotel. With their immense commitment the charm of earlier days awake now piece by piece in the old manor.
