The country house mill, (Landhaus Mühle), a 500-year-old house. The brook that used to drive the mill-wheel is still plashing, passing the terrace and through the adjoining meadows into the valley and down to the lake.
The former living rooms in the courtyard of the mill were converted to comfortable salons by the hosts. The „Old Snuggery“ became the living room of the country house, which invites you to jointly watch TV, play games or to read a book. The breakfast is served in the „Oven Snuggery“ and the „Old Kitchen“ turned into a retreat area for smokers.
The rooms which are all arranged homelike in country- house style invite you to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay.
In beautiful weather an extensive uncultivated garden receives the country house guests. On ready standing couches one can make oneself comfortable or cool the legs in the Mühlbach, to which the hosts put on particularly a small bath place. The gourmet country house cuisine exclusively feeds itself from fresh products of the region.
In the pots of Rolf Pochert they become from it marvelous courts which - depending upon desire and weather - on the sun terrace or before the fire-place in the restaurant, the former main area of the mill - are served. The environment of the old country house mill offers various possibilities for walking, biking or ski long run: Walking ways and loipes begin directly at the house!
