In 18. Century the carpenter of the hospitals furniture lived here. Its son, Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein was born here in 1751.

Further approx. 40 artists, under them many painters, come of from the artistically talented baker and carpenter family Tischbein from Haina. The half timbered house of the Tischbein family accommodates today a museum, in which one can experiences interesting details over live and work of this famous artists family.
