HÖERHOF

Linger and enjoy exclusiveness in the midst of the Taunus' green hills: The HÖERHOF – the small castle of Idstein – is an elaborately restored memorial with unique atmosphere.

The smaller castle, built between 1620 and 1626, is situated in the idyllic old town of Idstein, in the north of Wiesbaden. Equipped with 14 classically furnished, modern bedrooms and suites, the hotel and restaurant HÖERHOF is a comfortable place to be. Family celebration, meeting or conference – at HÖERHOF you'll find a pleasant and high-standard environment with function rooms for up to 100 people.

Originally built as the private residence of an architect, in 1911 the HÖERHOF was renovated by the painter Ernst Töpfer. In 1990 the Schlüter couple bought the renaissance-building, meanwhile fallen into ruins again. Their engagement for a complex and authentic renovation has been honoured with several awards.

The charming 400 years old timber-frame ensemble and the hostess' personal way and manner will let you come to rest and forget about all daily trouble. Perfect functionality and caring hospitality complement the hotel's elegant ambience. The picturesque court yard and outdoor beer garden invite you to linger.

You will experience pure indulgence in the brick laden wine cellar, where the chef Marcus Schubert and his team create carefully selected specialties. Exquisite cuisine is an affair of the heart to the HÖERHOF. Here comfort and tradition do create a unique atmosphere to feel good and truly relaxed.
