The comfortable rooms in the luxurious rustic style reveal a traditional and modern symbiosis. The Abbott and Shepherd Parlour gourmet restaurant offers modern, first class French cuisine, whilst the Benedictine Parlour restaurant offers rural Mediterranean specialities.

The former Amorshof Monastery of the Amorbach Benedictine Abbey, which became today’s ‘Schafhof’, was mentioned for the first time in records in 1446. Lovingly restored in 1721 and 1974, today overnight stays in the old living quarters of the monks or the small cosy rooms of the former loft of the monastery are possible.

Won - drously set back in time, tradition and charisma establish the ‘Schafhof’ as a retreat for individualists and lovers of unusual scenery. An ideal place, far away from the hecticness of the large city, where you can work in peace, hold meetings and recuperate. Not only do the exquisite products and exercises of the ‘Vital & Beauty’ retreat provide for relaxing, pleasant moments, so do the numerous sporting activities.
